I am not ashamed to say I absolutely love adult diapers 🤣. Even before giving birth I was excited at the thought of wearing them. I'm a simple person, I love to use items that make life simpler for me. I had no idea, however, how useful depends would actually be.
I initially purchased a pack of depends to help catch the discharge and bleeding that inevitably followed after delivery. However, when I arrived home from the hospital and proceeded to put on a pare of depends, they didn't fit. 😒 I was still very swollen from the c-section, and not even my size large depends could fit me. After a month, my stomach went down immensely and the bleeding following delivery stopped. I didn't think I'd need depends again. Not true! My menstrual cycle started back up about 8 weeks after delivery and I didn't have any of my usual toiletries so I reached for the depends again. This time they would fit me just fine. The next 4 days, I bled heavier than I ever had during a menstrual cycle. The depends were a "God send". They absorbed the gush like a pro and I didn't feel embarrassed or anxious because there was no way anthything could leak out. Not only were the underwear heavily padded in the middle, but it had a fitted material the surrounded the leg inserts so that no thing could leak through. I felt so protected and free to my daily routine without constantly running to the bathroom to change a soaked pad. It was even great at night. I had no worries when I arose the next day. If any moms are considering purchasing depends to deal with post pardum bleeding, take this a your sign to go for it. They may not be very sexy, but they are extremely convenient and will take the stress out of your post pardum hygiene routine. 😉
